PuduvaiGLUG started back in 2011 in order to bring together the GNU/Linux users. As more and more GNU/Linux users joined the community, our discussion arena expanded from GNU/Linux towards more broader freedom perspective of Free Software.
We had been conducting weekly sessions every weekend (Sunday) to engage with people interested in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). In these sessions, we discussed various FOSS tools, their benefits, and how they can be used in real-world applications. Our goal was to spread awareness about open-source technologies and encourage collaborative learning among peers. Each session included hands-on activities, discussions, and interactive learning experiences. Participants actively shared their knowledge, explored new software, and worked on small projects together. Through these weekly meetups, we built a strong community of like-minded individuals passionate about FOSS and innovation.
We strive to be democratic. Discrimination of any type (Gender, Caste, Religion, Finance, etc.) will not be tolerated.
